Registration is now open for our next and final CMGA Tournament of 2024 which will be held on Dec 14th at 8:30am. This tournament will be our Cheval Cup Championship which is an Individual Stroke Play event. 

This is one of our biggest tournaments of the year with an additional $2,000 from our reserves being added to the purse.  

Everyone will play the tee that you most frequently have been playing and handicaps will be adjusted accordingly. 

Get your name in now to guarantee your spot in this tournament.  If we have enough players, we will create Flights.  Sign up as an individual or as a foursome of your choice.

100% of the cash entry fee will go toward Gross and Net Winners.

Our CMGA 2025 season is right around the corner.  We will have the usual social events and will be planning for 6 or 7 Tournaments next season.  The 2025 member dues will be $75 for the 12 months.  Please feel free to bring your $75 member dues for the 2025 season to the Cheval Cup registration table.  Checks are accepted payable to CMGA.

The draft Thursday will be held in the Sunset Room. Start time is 7pm. Tournament players attending the draft will receive one drink ticket for a beer or house wine.

I have created visuals for the draft room, a flip chart and a white board so attendees can follow along. Can I get a volunteer to keep these updated throughout the draft?

Format – 4 man ABCD Best Ball, 2 best ball – One best gross One best net

Please see details below for our 2024 July 4th Tournament.  This will be a 4 player scramble.  This tournament is open to CMGA and CWGA members and their guest.  Every team must have at least one CMGA or one CWGA member on the team.

The flights will be as follows

Flight A

* Teams made up of 4 men

* Teams made up of 3 men and 1 lady

Flight B 

* Teams made up of 2 men and 2 ladies

* Teams made up of 1 man and 3 ladies

Flight C

* Teams made up of 4 ladies

*** The flights will be dependent on the number of teams.  If there are not enough teams to accommodate 3 flights then some flights will be combined.

Format – 4 player scramble

Check in time – 7:45am

Hello CMGA and CWGA members

Sign up soon to play in our next Club Golf Association Tournament.  We currently have 32 signed up / 8 teams

In addition to the information below,  there will be a Cheval Tavern Gift Card award to the Best Patriotic decorated golf cart for one CMGA member and CWGA member.  Golf cart occupants patriotic attire will also be considered along with the golf cart decorations.  Cheval staff will be judging. 

CMGA members that have not yet paid the $50 dues for the 2024 season, if you could please bring to the Tournament Registration table when you check in for the July 4th tournament.  Thank you

Hello CMGA

Here is the final tournament roster, pairings and starting holes.  We have lost some players over the past few days, we have added players and a number of players have had a change on the tee they plan to play.  The board met yesterday for final preparations and decided to make a change regarding the flighting.  Historical there was not any flighting and we crowned a gross and net champion.  We have decided to do the same this year.  There will be one flight and a gross and a net CMGA Cheval Cup champion will be determined.  As with the other events held this year approximately 40% of the field will receive prize money with a 2:1 ration of net to gross.    

Lunch will be provided in the Sunset Room immediately following the tournament.
